HELEN RESNECK-SANNES, PH.D. is a licensed psychologist, who has been in practice in the Santa Cruz area for over 30 years.  Her training in various analytic, somatic, trauma based, and cognitive behavioral psychotherapies, has enabled her to bring a  creative depth to her work.  She has taught in several universities and colleges throughout her career, as well as having trained other therapists throughout the United States and internationally in such countries as France, Spain, Italy, Canada, Brazil, and New Zealand.
Her numerous articles and book chapters have been pioneering in their integration of transferential, developmental, and somatic concepts in the theory and practice of psychotherapy.
In addition, she has published a memoir about her journey through her father's Alzeimers.
